This course will incorporate a wide range of instructional practices, including but not limited to small group discussions, collaboration, debates, case studies, experiential learning, technology-supported instruction and direct instruction.
Students will be assessed using a variety of authentic, meaningful assignments, including but not limited to academic writing assignments (e.g., literature review, research report, annotated bibliography, journal article analysis, case-studies analysis, collaborative books), student-led presentations/seminars, multimedia projects (e.g., video creation, collaborative website design, podcasts), reflective analyses (e.g., peer-assessment, self-assessment). Assignments are designed to be inclusive (e.g., embracing creativity and choice, maximizing student autonomy).
