This course will explore the major triple threats (climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution) to planetary health; and then investigate the theme of global environmental justice from both problem and solution perspectives. Uniquely, the course will feature participation in a module run by the non-governmental organization Common Earth. Students will produce responses to the module material and write a term paper and make a virtual presentation on an issue-area of their choosing.
